Set in parkland overlooking Swansea Bay on the edge of the breathtaking Gower Peninsula, the University's location is captivating. With 15,921 students and 2,510 staff, Swansea's multicultural campus community provides a global perspective and opportunities to gain skills that last a lifetime. Swansea University offers a wide range of courses covering mainstream subjects as well as some niche subjects. We offer courses at Foundation level (including pre-masters), Bachelors (3 and 4 year programmes available), Masters (taught and research) and PhD. Each year, we are able to offer International Excellence Scholarships worth up to £6,000 for international students to help fund study.

The University has recently opened the brand new Bay Campus in September 2015, further enhancing the student experience. The new Bay Campus houses the College of Engineering and School of Management, and boasts state of the art facilities and labs. It is home to our industrial partners such as Rolls Royce, Jaguar Land Rover, Tata Steel, Ericsson and many more.

Globally excellent and world leading research is produced across all disciplines, with particular strengths displayed across Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, Medicine and Life Science, Social Science and the Arts and Humanities. Swansea University was ranked joint 26th in the UK for Research Excellence in the recent 2014 REF results and has been awarded 5 QS stars for Teaching Excellence. The university was also voted University of the Year 2014 by students at the WhatUni Student Choice awards.

Our fantastic and award winning Student Services department includes the Money Advice and Support Service, Wellbeing Service and the International Student Advisory Service who provide free information and advice to international students and dependants on non-academic matters. 93% of graduates are in employment or further study within six months of graduating, putting Swansea in the top 20 universities in England and Wales.
